1 BLUPOND Set of 2 Anti-Glare HD Lens Clear Vision Sunglasses – Best Value for the Money Night Driving Glasses

There’s plenty of value to be had from Blupond glasses.

Unlike the rest of the night driving glasses on our list, Blupond gives you two sets of glasses for the price of one. You get a pair of nighttime glasses, but you get a pair of daytime glasses as well.

How cool is that?

Lightweight, comfortable, and durable…

They weigh just thirty-five grams. Together with the adjustable rubber nose pads and rubber-coated temple arms, this makes them comfortable to wear. Even on extended nighttime drives, they never feel irritable.

The glasses are also strong as well as comfortable. They have reinforced hinges and durable metal frames. What’s more, the lenses are made from shatterproof polycarbonate and have a coating to protect against scratching.

No glare…

Most importantly, the lenses are yellow-tinted and polarized, which effectively cuts out nighttime glare. The glasses are perfect for driving at night but could be used just as easily on either a motorcycle or even a bicycle.

The glasses have seven composite layers and are fully UV400 protected. This makes them suitable for use in the daytime too. They are great to use when it’s cloudy or overcast as they enhance the light whilst protecting your eyes.

24 hours a day…

When it’s not cloudy or overcast, you have the option of choosing to wear the second pair of darkened polarized glasses. These are also fully UV400 protected. Therefore, you get two sets of glasses you can wear over 24 hours, regardless of the conditions.

The glasses come with two soft pouches, a car clip holder, and a mini screwdriver on a key ring. Presumably, the mini screwdriver is for tightening up the screws on your glasses. It’s a great package though we would have liked to see a hard-shell glasses case.

BLUPOND Set of 2 Anti-Glare HD Lens Clear Vision Sunglasses

Our rating:4.3 out of 5 stars (4.3 / 5)

Pros

  • Good value.
  • Polarized lenses.
  • Shatterproof lenses.
  • Lightweight.

Cons

  • No hard case.

2 Night Driving Glasses Anti Glare Polarized With Stylish Case – Most Comfortable Night Driving Glasses

The style and the size of the glasses make them suitable for either men or women. The lenses measure 66mm x 36mm, which is a good size for most people’s faces. To help ensure a comfortable fit, they come with easily adjustable nose pads.

The glasses have durable TAC polarized yellow lenses. They effectively cut out the glare during the night. When faced with oncoming traffic and bright headlights, they minimize the temporary blinding effect so you can more easily see the road ahead.

Not just for driving…

They also help improve your vision during the daytime too. There’s no doubt that they’re a great choice when you’re out and about in the great outdoors.

Whether your fishing, running, skiing, or sailing, they’ll help enhance your view on a dull dark day. Additionally, they also have a UV400 coating on the lens to protect your eyes against the sun’s harmful rays.

Comfortably reliable…

The frames are made from durable metal, but the temple arms, like the nose pads, are soft and feel comfortable. The lenses are also strong and durable. They feature both shatterproof and scratch-resistant glass.

One final feature we like is the inclusion of a hard glasses case. This is a little unusual because the triangular-shaped case can fold down when the glasses are taken out. This means that the case can easily be slipped into your pocket.

We’ve not seen this design before, but like it a lot.

Night Driving Glasses Anti Glare Polarized With Stylish Case

Pros

  • Unisex style.
  • Strong and durable.
  • UV400 coated lenses.
  • TAC polarized yellow lenses.
  • Fold-down glasses case.

Cons

  • Cannot be worn over or with prescription eyeglasses.

3 Night Driving Glasses Anti Glare Polarized, Night Vision Glasses – Best Premium Night Driving Glasses

Soxick was founded in Germany back in 1989. They are currently one of the biggest manufacturers of glasses. In fact, they are the top-selling brand for nighttime glasses on Amazon.

So, why is that?

First of all, we think it’s in part down to the quality of the frames and not just the lenses. A glance at the frames might lead you to believe that they’re made from composite plastic. However, they’re made from a combination of an aluminum and magnesium alloy.

The result is a set of high-quality frames that feel smooth and look refined and well-finished. As a bonus, they’re also very flexible, which helps you to get a good fit and make you feel comfortable.

Get rid of the glare…

The lenses are made from a premium yellow composite material that features an anti-reflective coating. At night time, they instantly reduce the glare from oncoming traffic and other external light sources.

The Soxick glasses are also polarized and have a UV400 protective coating. This is perfect for improving clarity on those dull and cloudy days. It does all of this while also protecting your eyes from harmful UV rays.

A superb choice…

The glasses come in a velvet soft case, which is the only real negative. A hard case would have been preferable. Nevertheless, given the overall quality of both the frames and lenses, we feel the money was spent in the right places. Certainly a contender for the Best Night Driving Glasses.

Night Driving Glasses Anti Glare Polarized,Night Vision Glasses

Our rating:4.2 out of 5 stars (4.2 / 5)

Pros

  • Premium aluminum and magnesium frames.
  • UV400 and polarized lenses.
  • Strong and durable.
  • Flexible frames

Cons

  • No hard case.

4 KastKing Polarized Night Vision Driving Glasses – Strongest Night Driving Glasses

These are made from a hard-wearing premium Grilamid plastic. This is a military-grade material that has the benefits of being super-strong and also very flexible. Consequently, they can be comfortably worn by men and women with a wide range of head sizes.

The styling is very retro to the point of being fashionable again. However, if these are not your thing, then KastKing makes three other styles to choose from.

Although they’re comfortable for most people, if you have a very small or large nose, the nose pads might not be a good fit. This is because they can’t be adjusted. Unfortunately, it’s a common feature for these types of glasses.

Layers of protection…

The frames also have strong hinges that more than match the strength of the frames and lenses. The hinges are both smooth and robust. There’s no doubt about it, these glasses are well made and made to last.

The lenses have five layers. Two of the layers have a scratch-resistant color. Two layers have UV400 protection. The final layer is polarized. What’s more, since these are 35% thicker than most lenses, they offer excellent protection for your eyes if you’re involved in more active outdoor pursuits.

Tough to beat…

These tough glasses that can filter out glare at night time. Plus, they enhance your vision in conditions of low light. They perform particularly well in foggy and cloudy or overcast days.

As well as a microfiber pouch, the KastKing glasses also come with a rigid hard case. Considering the price point, this is a nice bonus.

KastKing Polarized Night Vision Driving Glasses

Our rating:4.2 out of 5 stars (4.2 / 5)

Pros

  • Stylish.
  • Strong.
  • Flexible.
  • Hard case included.

Cons

  • Nose pads not adjustable.
  • The lenses are not shatterproof.

5 HD Day Night Driving Glasses Fit Over Sunglasses – Best Wrap-Around Night Driving Glasses

These are an affordable pair of wrap-around glasses. There are a few different styles to choose from. Although, we find it difficult to use the word style in the same sentence with a pair of these. They’re very much more about function over form. Think of the kind of glasses your grandad might wear.

Frankly, these look almost like a mini pair of safety goggles!

So, who are these glasses for?

If you want to reduce the amount of unfiltered light getting to your eyes to an absolute maximum, then these are for you. They are polarized and AR-coated on both sides. About as good as it gets for enhancing poor daytime light conditions. Plus, the side lenses do an excellent job of keeping out unwanted light or glare at night.

If you have a lot of difficulty with glare, or if you’ve possibly just had a cataract operation, we can’t think of anything better. Unless they gave you a pair at the hospital, that is!

An important feature…

A likely deal-clincher for a lot of potential purchasers is that you can wear your prescription eyeglasses underneath. This makes them suitable for just about everyone.

Considering the very low price point, it’s good to see that they come with a soft pouch and also a hard case. The HD Day Night Driving Glasses offer you a lot for very little.

HD Day Night Driving Glasses Fit Over Sunglasses

Our rating:4.3 out of 5 stars (4.3 / 5)

Pros

  • Wrap-around style.
  • High level of light filtering.
  • Prescription eyeglasses can be worn underneath.
  • Polarized.
  • Hard case included.

Cons

  • Zero points for style.
  • They feel bulky.

6 Night Vision Driving Glasses TAC Anti Glare Shield Lens – Knight Visor Mark II – Most Durable Night Driving Glasses

The KNIGHT VISOR MARK II driving glasses are another great set of night driving glasses from BluPond. They are a significant upgrade over the two pairs of Knight Visor Mark glasses in our first review.

Frankly, they should be since this pair costs very close to the same as the first two pairs.

So, what do you get for your money?

You get a stronger set of frames for starters. Although they both use nice quality metal frames, the quality of these is undoubtedly better. The frames are unbreakable rather than just strong. That’s a good start.

More good news is that they have reinforced hinges and spring-loaded flexible temple arms. Both are designed to increase durability. The latter also benefiting the wearer with improved comfort.

Adjustable comfort…

Another feature we think is a big improvement is the inclusion of more modern style nose pads. These are the kind that is often found on sports and cycling glasses. They’re easier to adjust to and are more comfortable.

The incredibly low weight of just 24g is another big plus on the comfort front.

So, what about the lenses?

It’s good news here too. You get better quality semi-polarized TAC HD lenses. They are made from multi-layered polycarbonate and have excellent distortion and glare-free properties. Perfect for driving at night as well as in the daytime during failing or poor light.

The lenses are also shatterproof and have a UV400 protective layer. At this price, it would have been nice to have some kind of anti-fogging coat. The fact that they haven’t isn’t necessarily a deal-breaker, though.

A tiny drawback…

One of the moans we had with the KNIGHT VISOR MARK I driving glasses was that there was no hard case. Fortunately, they have rectified this with the inclusion of a quality hard-shell case.

All in all, despite the much higher price over the original glasses, the Mark II glasses, these glasses do more than enough to justify the higher price tag.

Night Vision Driving Glasses TAC Anti Glare Shield Lens - Knight Visor Mark II

Our rating:4.3 out of 5 stars (4.3 / 5)

Pros

  • Unbreakable high-quality metal frames.
  • They weigh just 24g.
  • Reinforced hinges.
  • Spring-loaded flexible temple arms.
  • HD TAC semi-polarized lenses.
  • Easily adjustable nose pads.
  • Hard case included.

Cons

  • No anti-fog coating.

7 SOXICK Anti-Glare Polarized Yellow Lens Day & Night Driving Glasses – Most Versatile Night Driving Glasses

These are another good quality pair of driving glasses from Soxick. They have strong aluminum and magnesium frames. The main advantages of this combination of materials are that they are both durable and also very light. It makes them perfect for wearing over extended periods.

To help make them even more comfortable, they have adjustable nose pads. These are the kind you usually find on eyeglasses. They’re reasonably effective, but we prefer the newer style nose pads that can be found on higher-end sports glasses.

Buck the brights, save your eyes…

The lenses have a yellow tint, an anti-reflective coating, and are polarized to help cut down on nighttime glare. High-beam lights from oncoming traffic or vehicles from behind are largely filtered out by the Soxick glasses. Likewise, they are effective in filtering out other light sources at night.

Wearing Soxick glasses can put an end to shocked pupils. They can put an end to constant squinting and can make night driving a much more pleasurable experience. They can also make it safer, which we’re sure you’ll agree is possibly the most important feature.

Use them anywhere…

The glasses are also good at helping enhance your vision in periods of poor light. On cloudy and dull days, they’re great for driving or even using for sports like fishing, running, or cycling. And if you do use them in the daytime is also reassuring to know that they’re still UV400 protected.

Finally, the Soxick glasses come with a nice quality hard case, as well as a soft pouch.

SOXICK Anti-Glare Polarized Yellow Lens Day & Night Driving Glasses

Our rating:4.2 out of 5 stars (4.2 / 5)

Pros

  • Anti-reflective coating.
  • Polarized.
  • Lightweight, tough metal frames.
  • Hard case included.

Cons

  • Adjustable nose pads could be better.

8 Anti Glare Night Driving Polarized Glasses – Best Budget Night Driving Glasses

HTMS has produced an inexpensive and stylish pair of glasses. The tortoiseshell frames and branding make them appear much more expensive than they are.

They undoubtedly look great, but the question is, do they perform as well as they look?

Let’s find out…

Starting with the frames, they are aluminum and magnesium combined with a plastic overlay. We sure you’ll agree the frames look amazing. They look like something straight out of a 50s Hollywood movie.

Now, who wouldn’t want to be on board with a look like that?

For your comfort, they feature spring hinges that can move through 30 degrees. This makes them suitable for a wide range of head sizes. They are marketed as a unisex pair of glasses, and we think they should be suitable for the majority of men and women.

However, one aspect of the frames we’re not so enthusiastic about is the nosepiece. There’s no soft nose pad. You get a solid piece of plastic that can become uncomfortable, depending on the shape and size of your nose.

Superb design…

The lenses have everything you look for in driving glasses. They are yellow-tinted and have a UV400 coating, a scratch-resistant coating, and they’re also polarized. These have all the same qualities as some of the Best Night Driving Glasses on the market.

They perform well to combat glare at night and work equally well at enhancing vision in poor light. Although you could use these on cloudy, overcast days, they are not very good for sports. Fishing would be OK and maybe shooting, but for things like running or cycling, they’re not ideal.

Excellent value for the money…

Despite the slight negatives, we like them a lot. They represent great value, and incredibly, you even get a hard-shell case as part of the deal. Not bad at all.

Anti Glare Night Driving Polarized Glasses

Our rating:4.5 out of 5 stars (4.5 / 5)

Pros

  • Stylish.
  • Polarized.
  • Scratch-resistant lens coating.
  • Hard case included.
  • Inexpensive.

Cons

  • No adjustable nosepiece.
  • Not suitable for sports.

9 Bifocal Sports Half Rim Wrap Around Yellow Lens Night Driving – Outdoor Reading Glasses Sunglasses – Best Bifocal Night Driving Glasses

These are a neat idea from Pink Ribbon Shades. To be very clear from the start, these are bifocal glasses. They are made with a normal lens at the top half and a bifocal lens at the bottom.

Anyone who wears reading glasses may be interested. And anyone under 40 probably has no idea what we’re talking about!

Comfort for all occasions…

The glasses have basic plastic frames. They are quite wide and should fit people with medium to large-sized heads. They are quite comfortable, too, since the frames are nice and flexible.

Another plus is that they have soft and comfortable adjustable nose pads. These are easy to manipulate with one hand and keep the glasses firmly in place, so you will be fine to use them for sports.

Lacking some features…

The lenses are the only ones on our list not to be polarized. Although they still do have a yellow tint and an anti-reflective coating. They block out the glare in the night, but the truth is they’re not as effective as most of the other glasses we’ve reviewed.

As well as not being polarized, they also have no UV400 protective coating. If you only intend to use them as nighttime driving glasses, this won’t be an issue. However, if you’re considering using them during the day, this is potentially a deal-breaker.

Another negative is the small choice of magnification strengths. Starting at 1.5 x, rather than 1.0 x, and going up in half rather than quarter increments will greatly limit the number of people that can wear them.

Good for a very select group…

All in all, they’re not bad glasses. But we can’t help feel that they’ve made an inexpensive pair of glasses and spread all the good things just a little bit too thinly.

Bifocal Sports Half Rim Wrap Around Yellow Lens Night Driving - Outdoor Reading Glasses Sunglasses

Our rating:4.3 out of 5 stars (4.3 / 5)

Pros

  • Bifocal lenses.
  • Comfortable.
  • Adjustable nose pad.
  • Affordable.

Cons

  • Non-polarized.
  • No UV400 coating.
  • Poor magnification choices.

10 Night Driving Glasses, Anti Glare Polarized Safety Yellow Glasses – Best Lightweight Night Driving Glasses

The last night driving glasses on our list are once again from Soxick. They are the most expensive glasses in our review but offer plenty of good quality to justify the price tag.

However, despite their cost, they are still very affordable when compared to most well-known brands that are likely to cost substantially more.

Built for the modern world…

The glasses have HD high-performing, anti-reflective lenses. They are also polarized and have a yellow tint. The good news is that this all works to cut down glare from LED and modern xenon headlights.

The Soxick glasses also have a UV400 coating, so they can be used safely in the daytime too. In the situation of failing or poor light, they do a great job of enhancing poor light and improving your vision.

Light as a box of feathers…

We’re happy to tell you that the glasses are light, weighing just 26g. They are therefore comfortable and can be worn for long periods should you choose to do so.

Since they have flexible frames and fully adjustable, non-slip nose pads, you can use these for active sports like running, boating and cycling.

Nothing to lose…

Happily, the magnesium alloy frames and reinforced hinges make the glasses durable as well as functional and stylish. Their durability is also backed by a lifetime warranty and a 100% money-back guarantee if you’re not fully satisfied. So, make sure to keep your receipt somewhere safe.

To protect your glasses when not in use, they come with a hard case.

Night Driving Glasses, Anti Glare Polarized Safety Yellow Glasses

Our rating:4.1 out of 5 stars (4.1 / 5)

  • Quality polarized and anti-reflective lenses.
  • Lightweight.
  • Adjustable and non-slip nose pads.

Best Night Driving Glasses Buying Guide

Best Night Driving Glasses Review

Frame Material

The frame material can significantly affect the comfort and durability. The common choice for frames is either a composite plastic or a lightweight aluminum alloy. While sports glasses tend to favor lightweight composite plastic frames, driving glasses tend to favor lightweight alloy.

Both are great choices.

Most of the glasses in our review weigh around thirty grams, which makes them comfortable to wear for extended periods. Additionally, all the metal alloy frames are flexible on the temple arms, which adds to the wearer’s comfort.

Nose Pads

Adjustable and soft nose-pads will help you get a better fit. And also help the glasses feel more comfortable when worn over extended periods. Having good fitting glasses also helps if you intend to use them for sports during the daytime.

Shatterproof Lenses

Driving glasses frequently use toughened, shatterproof, and impact-resistant glass to protect your eyes in the event of an accident. This same technology is all useful if you use your glasses for outdoor activities like cycling or running.

Having shatterproof glasses is a feature well worth having.

Of all the glasses we reviewed, the…

KNIGHT VISOR MARK II

…are the best for their shatterproof qualities.

Top Best Night Driving Glasses

Scratch Resistant lenses…

Without scratch-resistant lenses, your glasses can quickly become damaged and even unwearable. In our experience, the first scratch will always be across your direct field of view!

Annoying, right?

Having scratch-resistant lenses will hopefully reduce the chances of you having to prematurely throw your glasses in the trash. It’s another feature well worth the extra expense.

UV400 Protected lenses…

The need for having UV400 protection might seem strange for a review about night driving glasses. However, users frequently use driving glasses during the day in poor light conditions.

Even in poor light, your eyes can still be susceptible to damage from the sun, so UV400 protection is a must-have.

Yellow Tinted lenses…

The yellow tint plays a very big part in reducing nighttime glare from traffic and other light sources. However, having a yellow tint does not automatically mean you get a good level of glare reduction.

Too little will allow potentially dazzling and disorientating light to pass through. Too much will block out so much light that it becomes difficult to see. Striking the right balance is, therefore, essential.

Polarized Lenses…

Horizontal light waves can cause glare from lights at night. Also, they can cause glare from wet road surfaces, road signs, or water. Polarized lenses work by filtering out these light waves. The result is a clearer, less distorted vision both at night and in the daytime.

A combination of yellow-tinted and polarized lenses is, therefore, a great pairing to improve and enhance overall vision whilst reducing glare.

What Are Best Night Driving Glasses?

So, there you have it. All of these glasses offer great solutions to annoying and dangerous nighttime glare. All of them are packed with features at a price that won’t break the bank.

We would be happy to take any of these glasses home with us. However, if we had to choose just one pair, it would be the…

KNIGHT VISOR MARK II Glasses

We like them because they have incredibly light and tough frames. Also, they have spring-loaded hinges and soft adjustable nose pads to ensure a comfortable fit.

But best of all, they have superb HD TAC lenses that guarantee excellent vision when driving at night.

Safe driving.
