Sealing could surely be better…

We’d have preferred to see an anti-fog coating so they could do away with the cut channels in the foam seals.

Tough and also light construction, though…

On a happier note, the lenses are made from tough polycarbonate. They are impact-resistant and have a UV400 protective coating. Finishing on a final positive, since the goggles are light, they feel nice and comfortable. So, as long as you don’t have a large head, they should be a good fit.

For a good value for your money, we don’t think you can get much better than Fox, Bobster, or Pacific Coast brands.

A brand to consider that sits somewhere between these two tiers is Halcyon. They’re not as well-known as Oakley or AGV, but the quality is close to if not the same as these big two brands. It’s a set of goggles well worth consideration.

At the budget end of the market, Bolle is a good bet. In with Bolle, we’d include CRG goggles from our review. Both are solid brands that offer lots of value for the more budget-conscious shopper.
