Whether on the daily commute or a joyride through Death Valley, it’s important to stay hydrated when riding a motorcycle. Maybe you’re on the school run on a Winter morning and want a hot cup of coffee to keep you warm. Or maybe you’re tearing through Arizona, baking under that hot desert sun.
Either way, having a beverage on hand is pretty convenient.

Top 10 Best Motorcycle Cup Holders on the Marketin 2022 Reviews
1
Kuryakyn 1692 Motorcycle Accessory: Passenger Drink/Cup Holder – Best Rated Motorcycle Cup Holders
Fill my cup…
First in line is this cool cup holder from Kuryakyn. This well-respected brand is a true lover of motorcycles. They understand that a bike isn’t just a means of transportation; it’s a way of life.
Does this cup holder reflect that passion?
Yes, because it was designed with one of the world’s most iconic motorcycle companies in mind. You’ve guessed it; Wisconsin’s own Harley Davidson. This holder is made to fit most of their 2014-2019 models.
That does mean that it doesn’t work for other motorcycles. It’s only compatible with cruiser styles, such as the Road Glide Ultras. Riders with other types of bikes will need to look elsewhere.
How is it attached?
This Harley motorcycle cup holder isn’t really for the rider. It fits comfortably on the right passenger side, in the perfect spot for your pillion to reach. If the rider wants to quench their thirst, then they’ll have to ask the passenger to hand it to them.
Securing it to the bike is a simple process. The bracket is sturdy and secure, and shouldn’t take more than ten minutes to fit. You’ll need your own tools, though, as they’re not included in the mounting hardware.
Does it work?
Ridged, metal fingers hold the cup or bottle firmly in place. Underneath them is a mesh basket with a hard base to support the beverage and give it something to rest on. However, they work best with a full beverage because light, empty bottles can easily fly out.
And one more thing…
This one is seriously pricy! Harley Accessories often are. You’ll need deep pockets if this is the cup holder you go for!
Pros
- Classic Harley looks.
- Strong grip with a full cup.
- Easy to fit.
Cons
- Expensive!
- Harley Davidson only.
2
CIRO 50420 Drink Holder – Best Motorcycle Cup Holder for Harley
Mirror, Mirror…
Now for this handlebar motorcycle cup holder. It hangs onto the bike just next to the mirror. That’s good news for left-handed riders as it can fit onto either side.
Is it suitable for all motorcycles?
Yes, but with limits. This mountable cup holder is meant for Harley Davidson bikes. The stylish chrome finish around the top sure does match the vintage-chic vibes from one of these motorcycles.
However, it will work with other models, too. It should fit just about any 1-inch handlebars. So, make sure you measure before buying, or else you might be disappointed.
Safety first…
Once mounted, that chrome mentioned earlier holds the cup or bottle in as snug as a bug in a rug. It’s backed up by a mesh basket that hangs down underneath. Working together, they prevent the container from working its way free, even if it’s extremely lightweight or even empty.
And that basket has another bonus. It’s made from contoured rubber. This material ensures it won’t damage the paintwork if it happens to rub against the body of the bike.
And there’s more…
It holds onto the handlebar bracket using a ball mount. This impressive design allows the container to be held at any angle. Once in the correct placement, simply tighten the back nut to make sure that the holder will not slip.
There’s a lot to like here…
Not only does it have a firm grasp, but the placement is handy too. Plus, being able to attach it on either side means the rider can choose the most suitable spot.
It isn’t cheap, though. Sure, it doesn’t exactly break the bank, but it’s still more than some may want to spend. It’s probably only worth splashing the cash for if you’re using it every day.
Pros
- Rubber basket.
- Adjustable angle.
- Great mount.
Cons
- On the expensive side.
3
Kruzer Kaddy 400 Leather Wrap Handlebar Mount – Most Versatile Motorcycle Cup Holders
Kaddy-shack…
Versatility is the name of the game when it comes to this next option. This is a universal cup holder. That means it will fit most handlebars from 7/8 to 1-1/4 inches!
Therefore…
It is suitable for almost any motorcycle! There’s far less worry here when it comes to sizing. No matter what make or model you ride, you can be fairly confident that this will fit.
It’s not just for handlebars either. It can also be attached to passenger sidebars or luggage rack. Why not buy one for the rider and one for the pillion so everyone stays hydrated on the go?
That’s not all…
It also offers flexibility with the size of the container being held. There are several foam inserts to thanks for that. Change the thickness of that foam or leave it out altogether to accommodate the capacity of the cup.
Plus, it doubles up as a portable cup holder. This one can be easily detached from the motorcycle. The bracket stays attached while the holder itself is unclipped to take your beverage with you when parked.
This sounds too good to be true! Is it?
Well, it’s a bit too flexible when it comes to the mount. At high speeds, it can become loose very quickly. It needs to be regularly tightened, or it could fall off, potentially causing an accident.
So, you’d better keep a close eye on it! Because otherwise, this is a fantastic choice. And in stylish black leather with a gleaming chrome finish, it’s pretty easy on the eyes, too.
Pros
- Adjustable fitting.
- Reasonably priced.
- Accommodates various sizes.
Cons
- Can fall off.
4
Show Chrome Accessories 52-836 Beverage Holder – Best Sturdy Motorcycle Cup Holder
Passenger perfect…
With its armrest mounting, this entry in the search for the best cup holders for motorcycles is one for your pillion. This doesn’t sit on the handlebars for the rider. Instead, it’s made for those who prefer to sit behind.
What is it made from?
There’s no flimsy plastic on offer here. Instead, this one is constructed using chrome-plated steel. Incredibly sturdy and robust, it provides a safe, secure vessel for the bottle, giving the rider total peace of mind.
That mount is equally substantial. There’s little chance of it falling loose. And as it’s screwed rather than clipped into place, it can’t be easily stolen when you’re away from your bike.
Is it for everyone?
Sorry, gentlemen! When it comes to this drinks holder, size matters! It’s a cruiser cup holder and will only fit certain models of armrests, so be sure to check that you measure up before purchase.
But it will take containers with a wide range of capacities. It’s pretty flexible when it comes to that. Whether it’s an 11 oz can or a huge 25 oz flask, it should keep the beverage secure.
What’s the catch?
Apart from that possible issue with sizing, there’s just one other negative here. It’s a very basic model. It may do a good job, but it doesn’t add that touch of style you want to see in a motorcycle accessory.
But if that doesn’t matter to you, then who knows? This could be one of the best motorcycle cup holders for you.
Pros
- Tenacious.
- Can fit any container.
- Unbreakable!
Cons
- Wrong size for some.
- Boring to look at.
5
LEXIN LX-C3 Motorcycle Cup Holder – Best Cup Holders for Motorcycles Passenger
The shiny and chrome…
The next cup holder for motorcycles comes with some major Mad Max vibes! The futuristic chrome finish combined with the woven neoprene basket just screams industrial chic! This one adds a stern yet sexy, post-modern vibe to any motorcycle.
That’s backed up by a series of rubber teeth around the interior. But they don’t just look good! They have a function as well.
What is it?
They’re the first line of defense when it comes to keeping the beverage in place. Those gear-style teeth grip the bottle firmly, with the rubber preventing it from slipping. They’re firm enough to ensure a tight hold, yet with enough flexibility to let the containers up 2.7 inches in diameter slide smoothly in.
The teeth are attached to a hefty chrome clamp which forms the frame of this industrial cup holder. Then beneath is that neoprene basket. That material is hardy and waterproof, and won’t deteriorate over time.
And as for sizing…
This is another universal cup holder. It should fit just about any motorcycle. The clamps include a couple of spacers, meaning they’re fully adjustable.
Plus, it’s so easy to attach those clamps. Everything you need to fit them is included here. There’s even a correctly-sized Allan key, so you won’t need to provide any tools.
The downside?
It won’t take an enormous container. It is slightly limited thanks to those inner teeth. However, for most small to medium-sized vessels, this is an awesome option.
Pros
- Secure and sound.
- Non-slip clamps and frame.
- Stunning!
Cons
- No containers above 2.7 inches diameter.
6
Ciro Big Ass Drink Holder (Black) (no mount) – Best Large Motorcycle Cup Holders
I like big butts (and I cannot lie…)
Big ass by name, big ass by nature! This is a large motorcycle cup holder. Not for the faint-hearted, it’s designed to hold tumblers, bottles, and cups from a huge 30 oz. up.
So, no small containers at all?
Not this time. This would be best used for those long journeys when you don’t want to waste time stopping. It’s not much use for holding a small coffee cup on the way to the office.
Those enormous bottles are held in place using a neoprene net. Neoprene is the perfect material for wet-weather rides. It does a fantastic job of repelling moisture and won’t crack or fade as it dries.
There’s no metal involved with this one…
Instead, that net does everything. It removes the need for a chrome ring or grip, meaning it reduces the chance of scratching the motorcycle.
Can I attach it to the handlebars?
Simply put, no, you can’t. Nor does it fix to the passenger sidebars or luggage rack either. There’s no mounting hardware included at all. However, it is compatible with most ball mounting systems, so it should be easy to buy one. That does push the price up, though. It’s a pity because otherwise, this is a decent option.
And as for the price…
It doesn’t break the bank, but there are cheaper options out there. And most of those cheaper options have a mount and a little more range. All in all, this is a well-made piece of kit that doesn’t quite live up to its potential.
Pros
- Durable.
- Massive capacity.
- Waterproof.
Cons
- Cannot accept a beverage smaller than supersize!
- No installation hardware.
7
AIKATE Bike Cup Holder, Bicycle 2-in-1 Bottle Bracket – Best Budget Motorcycle Cup Holders
Two become one…
Perhaps you’re not only a motorcycle rider. Maybe you love mountain bike riding too. If so, this could be the beverage holder for you!
Why?
Because it has two different mounting options, the first is a clamp that attaches the holder to the handlebars. Made from hardy aluminum, it’s lined with a thick rubber pad to protect the motorcycle from scrapes.
But then, it also comes with a bracket to fix it to the frame of a bicycle! And once again, it’s a tough addition. Both options come with all the mounting hardware you need, including perfectly-sized screws and tools.
What’s the best thing about this holder?
Hands down, it has to be the price! This is more than a budget-friendly motorcycle cup holder; it’s practically a steal! It’s by far one of the most low-cost bike cup holders on the market today.
That is reflected in the quality a bit, though. It doesn’t hold the container that tightly. It’s unlikely to fall out, but it does rattle around quite a lot.
Caffeine crazy…
Unfortunately, this isn’t one for coffee lovers. It’s only meant for reusable, sporty water bottles. It won’t hold a coffee cup in place or a large hydration flask either.
It’s not for everyone. For casual riders who don’t want to spend much money, it’s still a possibility. But I’m afraid it isn’t one of the best motorcycle cup holders.
Pros
- Motorcycle and bicycle compatible.
- Extremely kind to the bank balance.
Cons
- A little insecure.
- Water bottles only.
8
Kruzer Kaddy 1080 Flat Black Skull Barmount – Best Skull Motorcycle Cup Holders
Skull n’ bones…
What’s the one universally recognized motif of motorcycle gangs? A skull, of course. Often found on rings or bandanas, that skull image has become a symbol for riders all around the world.
And now, you can join them with this cup holder! This one just oozes ‘don’t mess with me’ vibes. It tells the world that you may be a badass, but you still understand the importance of proper hydration.
How big is it?
Enormous! This is a huge product; it’s pretty weighty, too, so at first, you might notice the difference it makes to the handlebars.
But that means it has a great capacity! There’s plenty of room for those bigger containers. It comes with a couple of liners as well, meaning smaller cups and bottles can fit snugly too.
So, it’s a handlebar holder?
Yes, it comes with a mounting stud that allows you to fix it to either side of the bike. And that stud comes with the same matte black finish as the rest of the cup. Those awesome looks extend even to mount with this product, helping it to stand out from many other cup holders.
However, it’s not quite tough enough to deal with the huge weight of this item. It would be fine with a smaller holder, but a massive holder like this is too much for it. You’ll find you need to tighten it, again and again, to stop the holder from flying off.
Looking on the bright side…
There’s so much to like with this one. The design is awesome, and the range it offers is impressive. It’s just a shame that mounting hardware lets it down.
Pros
- Stunning design.
- Can fit various sizes.
- Universal mount.
Cons
- Lacks strength and longevity.
9
Universal Motorcycles Drink Cup Holder
Lady in red…
It’s almost the end of the hunt for the best motorcycle cup holders. But wait! Don’t leave without checking out this sleek, metallic option.
Made from top-notch aluminum alloy, it’s a cup holder that will stand the test of time thanks to its first-rate abrasion resistance. Plus, that metal has another bonus. It’s finished with an understated, red tint, lending a fashionable, modern twist to any motorcycle.
O.K., so it looks great! But does it work?
Color aside, there’s nothing fancy here. It doesn’t offer much in the way of customization, and there’s only one option for mounting. It sits securely against the handlebars, fastened tightly with a solid clamp.
That clamp is attached to the holder itself with several metal screws. Those screws are tough and resilient, and they have another upside as all. They’re already firmly in place, meaning there’s absolutely no installation required. Simply let the clamp grip the handlebars, and off you go.
Bottle or cup?
It isn’t ideal for caffeine fiends, I’m afraid. It’s just not the right shape to hold a cup. And as it can’t be adjusted, there’s no real way of making one fit. But it works very well with water bottles! Particularly reusable ones made from solid plastic or metal. They need to be larger than 16 fl. Oz. though, or they’ll start to move around.
What you have here is an uncomplicated product that lives up to everything it promises. And with its 100% product guarantee, you can’t say fairer than that.
Pros
- Stunning red hues.
- Hardy and durable.
- Satisfaction guarantee.
Cons
- No coffee cups.
- Lacks imagination.
10
Kruzer Kaddy Kustom Kaddy – Chrome #500 – Best Chrome Motorcycle Cup Holders
Kruzer-style…
The final beverage holder for motorcycles in this review has some real camp cookware vibes. This basic chrome container wouldn’t look out of place around a campfire.
But don’t be fooled by its simplistic design. There’s more than meets the eye with this option. It actually has some really useful features.
Such as…
For a start, you get three different mounting choices. If you want something permanent, it can either be drilled with a blocking plate or drilled and then tapped using .25 thread. If you’d prefer adjustability, then it can also be clamped, so it’s easy to remove and reposition.
It also offers a choice when it comes to the size of the beverage. It has a diameter of about 3 inches which is a pretty decent size. Then, it also comes with two liners for holding smaller containers in place.
What kind of bike is it suitable for?
Any! The mounting system is flexible enough that it should fit a huge range of motorcycles. It’s even big enough for an ATV, meaning this is a good choice for a wide range of users.
However, you might need to provide some of the hardware yourself. It could do with a couple of rubber washers or seals. Otherwise, the holder can move around and may even fall off.
Substance over style…
The best way to describe this motorcycle drinks holder would be functional. It does exactly as it promises, and nothing more. If you’re looking for a basic motorcycle cup holder that offers a degree of flexibility and won’t break the bank, then this could be the one for you.
Pros
- Low-cost.
- Mounting options.
- Liners included.
Cons
- A little boring.
- Needs extra equipment for safe mounting.
Motorcycle Cup Holders Buying Guide
Choosing the best drink holder is harder than it sounds. As this review has shown, there are many different options out there! So, what do you need to consider?
What kind of motorcycle do you ride?
Not all cup holders are created equal! Some only fit certain models of bike, Check that yours is compatible before buying.
If in doubt, measure the bar where you’re planning to put it. It is totally possible that a holder made for a different style of motorcycle could still be suitable for yours. The only way to find out is by using a tape measure.
Rider or pillion?
Who is the cup holder for? Some are only meant for fixing onto passenger bars. These can’t usually be adapted to sit on the front of the bike, so be sure that you’re choosing a product for the right person!
Of course, many with handlebar mounts can be moved to a suitable position for a passenger. That’s the beauty of having a luggage rack and sidebars! But again, do check beforehand as the sizing could be inconsistent.
How about capacity?
Ideally, you want something that can hold a variety of different containers. That means having an adjustable grip around the top or a choice of holder liners. It needs to be able to take a small coffee cup as well as a larger bottle.
Then again, if you’re the type of person who always has a huge rehydration flask by their side, then bigger is better! You need to choose a roomy holder. There’s no point in trying to squeeze in a container that’s too small as it is likely to fall out mid-ride.
And then there’s construction…
The holder must stand the test of time. There’s no point in buying a product that quickly deteriorates. Any metal needs to be highly durable to keep the beverage safe.
And it also has to be waterproof. That’s where Neoprene can be incredibly useful. Not only does it form a cradle for the container, but it holds up well in bad weather too.
Just one more thing…
No one wants to spend a lot of money. After all, it’s just a cup holder! But, as with most motorcycle accessories, the good stuff costs the most. Choose the item that offers you the most bang for your buck, rather than going straight for the cheapest option.

Which are the Best Motorcycle Cup Holders?
Picking a winner is never easy! But in the end, one stood out above the rest. The best motorcycle cup holder is the…
This one is the best all-rounder. O.K., so it can’t take enormous containers, but that’s its only downside. The Neoprene basket is robust and hardy, those powerful teeth grip the container well, and it comes at an extremely reasonable price.
Throw in those wickedly good looks, and you have a holder that can’t be beaten.
So, happy riding, folks!
